There are several styles of patios in towns such as St Austell, Truro, Padstow and Bodmin with many different surfaces. Over time, due to weathering, the paving can deteriorate and lose colour. This can also be due to the build up of moss, algae, weeds and staining.

What surfaces can be cleaned?

There are many types of surface that we can clean including block paving, imprinted concrete, natural stone, tarmac, crazy paving and concrete slabs. Block paving is harder to keep clean, due to its composition and the way that it is laid. The sand filled gaps between the blocks also make it easy for weeds to take root and grow.

By using our high powered machinery, together with quality cleaners, dirt and surface growth can be easily washed away, restoring your patio to the great asset it once was.

Once clean and dry, we would advise residents in areas such as Bodmin, Padstow, Newquay and St Minver to apply a protective sealer. This creates a non permeable membrane across the surface, reducing the need for regular cleaning and maintenance of the paving. We recommend that at least 2 coats of quality sealer are applied. A weather resistant barrier is created, protecting your patio from UV light and preventing future growth and staining.

Once cleaned and sealed your patio will look like new again, the colours will be enhanced to their full potential and the paving will be safe once again.
